As a dancer and choreographer, my work is expressed through a wide variety of spectrums. My range includes work designed for the concert stage, site specific locations, immersive theatre, and dance for the camera. At this point in my career, I am interested in synthesizing movement that is motivated by mysterious and ethereal imagery. By examining the light and dark forces within us all, I create atmospheres and opportunities for performers and audiences to explore the human experience with curiosity. I aim for these performances to help connect people to their deeper selves and serve as a catalyst for unity within their communities.
In my work, I create atmospheric sound, imagery and movement that invites performers and audience members to examine the currents of emotion that flow deep within their soul and consciousness. In my immersive work, I offer a flexible format which allows for new opportunities in every performance. Performers and audience members mingle and play off each other to create an unrepeatable event. This is more than a performance, it is a full experience inspired from detailed research into human dynamics, relational behavior and rich movement investigation; my shows interweave media, sound, costume and lighting design that serve to guide the audience through seemingly spontaneous, though meticulously planned time/space structures that offer one of a kind experiences.
